Enter The Dragon 4K is Here.

Enter The Dragon 4K was released on the 7th August 2023 in the UK to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the greatest martial art movie of all time starring the king of kung fu himself – Bruce Lee.

Both the original 1973 Theatrical Cut and 1998 Special Edition Cut are included on the UHD disc. I’ve got a feeling the Blu Ray included in the UK package will be the old 40th anniversary release but I would love Warners to prove me wrong. You guys in the US are getting a digital download of the movie instead of the blu ray. Sadly there will be ZERO new extras. Someone who worked at WB until late last year says they have no deleted scenes or BTS material. And that they would not fund any new features for the 50th anniversary release. So we are being treated to the same special features we got on the dvd over 20 years ago.

Looks like the ‘Enter The Dragon’ 50th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’s Edition is now SOLD OUT at Amazon, Zavvi and HMV. I’m not surprised really there is at least 20 up for sale already on eBay at DOUBLE the original  price.

For our friends in the U.S. you can preorder the 50th Anniversary Collector’s Edition from Amazon.com for $93.99 (£73.)which seems way overpriced.

Hopefully the price will drop before release date which Amazon says is the 18th of August.

Also available in the US from bestbuy.com is ‘Enter The Dragon’ 50th Anniversary edition steel book. From looking at the picture, It’s the same red steelbook HMV are releasing in their ‘Cine’ edition

without the Poster Reproductions, Lenticular or cards.
